Bellevue is located in north central Ohio. The area is noted for its cherry orchards and its railroad history. The Bellevue Library Association was incorporated in 1891. The building is a Carnegie Library, originally built in 1903 at the current location and expanded and renovated in 1988-89.

Welcome to the Bellevue Public Library Take the Ohio Route 4 exit, #110 (Sandusky/Bellevue) from the turnpike. Turn right from the off-ramp onto Ohio Route #4. It is about 4.5 miles to the intersection of Ohio #113. Turn right onto Route #113. Travel west on #113. This becomes E. Main Street of Bellevue. The Library is located on the left-hand side in the downtown area.
